Avalon 3 Temperature Countertop Top Loading Water Cooler with Child Safety Lock is made with an innovative stainless steel body. It offers a choice of 3 water temperatures. The easy-to-use push button spouts make it so much more convenient to use. Simply press the temperature button of choice and allow the water to flow from the given spout. The machines highly efficient compressor makes the cold water crisp and ice cold at approximately 47° F without the need of adding ice cubes to your drink. The hot faucet is hot enough to cook one’s tea or coffee or any other steaming hot beverage at approximately 185°F. Due to the extremely hot water, we’ve added a child safety lock on the hot water faucet. The dispensing area is 12x3x10 inches with 9 inches of space below the spouts. The water cooler is UL listed and complies with all standards of Energy Star. The unit dimensions are 12x13x19 inches.

Amazing product, slightly confusing indicator lightsGreat product. Hot water is steaming hot, cold water is nice and chilly. Be advised, the hot and cold lights on the front turn on and off by themselves, depending on whether the heating or cooling units are actively heating or cooling or not because the water is already at the desired temperature. UPDATE: You wouldn’t think it, but having hot water on hand at all times has dramatically decreased my coffee consumption in favor of drinking more tea. So, added benefit.

Water taste like plasticVery nice looking water dispenser. I’ve rinsed it per documentation and used at least one 5 gallon bottle. Water still taste like plastic. Will be returning.

Nice water dispenser, but temps are wrong.The cool/room temperature is actually refrigerated to be colder than the cold setting. This is such a great water dispenser, it’s just unfortunate I can’t use it to my needs due to the temperatures not being right. Below are the temps I measured. Cold = 46.4F Cool = 39.2F Hot = 163.4F
