I have gotten many items from Walmart that was Better Homes and Garden in the same style have been very pleased with them all. They seem very sturdy and go together very well. If you follow their directions are very easy to put together. Directions and pictures are very well done and make it very easy to see exactly how they are to look before and after you have done the individual steps.

Pleasantly SurprisedI wasnt sure what the quality of this bookshelf would be considering the great price but I am very happy with it. It did take my husband a couple hours to put it together but it was well worth it. It seems sturdy and looks great. Would recommend.

Lots o parts but looks lovely!I was looking for a rustic hutch to replace my old 20 year hutch that served me well. Full disclosure, this took me a LONGtime to put together because I am not the best with putting things together. But the directions are by far THE BEST! If I can do it, so can you. Just give yourself time. The pic doesn’t do it justice. And I’m going to add some decor and remove some books. Overall, well worth the time it took to put together. Hope it lasts 20 years!

Tedious for a small unit!I got three of them as they were 120 per piece. It takes at least 2 hrs minimum to assemble one unit all by myself. It is a tedious process but not complicated. The doors are not perfectly aligned which is a minor issue as I am using it in my laundry room for storage. I wish they came in wider sizes so I only have to install 2 units to cover the 8 foot wall. It is top heavy and the CAM SCREWS and Hidden Cams don’t tighten all the way or are not sufficient to hold the top and bottom together. They bend or are slightly wobbly. The side panels would be sturdier if they were single panels with no joint in between. Also the back panel needs to be marked as front and back as I missed both times and nailed them almost halfway and then removed it and flipped it to right side in and nailed them all over again. Easy to miss as they come folded. One more unit to go. Hopefully I’ll remember to flip it right before I start nailing!

BookcaseNot a bad looking bookcase, but after three attempts trying to even the bottom doors that my Handyman spent four hours assembling I called to get a replacement door only to be told I could get a $40.00 refund for the defective door.
We ended up placing a matchbook under the door.

Sawdust is not a solid wood!It’s not a wood!!!
It’s a sawdust!
When I was looking for a bookshelf I chose the filter for solid wood, this bookshelf appeared in the search. Also in description it says it’s a wood!
But it’s not!
It’s a compressed sawdust!!!
Return! Definitely return!
$200 dollars for sawdust is too much.
I might be able to accept at least engineering wood, even I’m not a big fun of that either, anyway it’s much better than sawdust with laminating film!

Poor quality poor customer serviceThe unit had several damaged pieces when I opened the box. I just wanted a replacement but that wasnt an available option. I would have to box it back up (its not exactly easy to lift), haul it back to the store, get a full refund, then order another unit, wait for it to arrive and hope for better luck. No thanks. Ill just call this purchase a $200 lesson in ordering from Walmart instead of Amazon.
