Love love love itI never realized how much I would love this. I have been seeing people on Pinterest, Facebook etc all gloating about their Blackstone and I got the opportunity to receive one I hopped on it and I have to say I am just as thrilled with mine. My favorite think to cook on it is bacon. I am not a big fan of bacon in the oven and to do it in a pan, for a whole big family, takes and eternity. You can cook soooo much bacon all at once on this, then scramble eggs and pancakes all at once. And clean up afterwards is so easy. Great for big holiday breakfasts
It does get super hot and I had a dumb moment and used my regular kitchen spatula (I don’t know what it was made of) but it melted. I definitely have a grill set with the big spatulas on my Christmas list this year for it.
Assembly was pretty easy and didn’t require any special tools, obviously, you do need to buy a propane tank before you can get started.

Simply the Best Griddle EverThis is the 22 inch Blackstone Griddle. It has two separate burner’s which makes it great for adjusting temperature’s on each side or just using one burner at a time. You use propane for the lighting source. It comes with two side holders. Now the side holder plates are even with the griddle so be careful with them as they do get items hot, but it is not a biggie if you are careful. The side plates are about 10 inches by eighteen inches. The griddle itself is about eighteen inches deep. The hole to push the grease into the grease trap is also in the rear so if you like pushing it away from you it is a plus. The griddle stands about three feet from the ground which I found to be perfect. The “Blackstone” Emblem you put on the front looks awesome too. Now I did have an issue with a pre-drilled hole not being right, but I just drilled it a little wider and it was fine. I have done burgers, hot dogs, fajitas’s, philly-cheese steaks, soft taco’s, steaks, not to mention numerous breakfast items. I cannot wait to eventually graduate to the 3 and 4 burner Blackstone Griddles and I will as soon as I master this must have for anyone who loves to use the griddle. I look at this griddle, close my eyes and see stars for miles. It’s that good!

Perfect size! This is my second Blackstone. I was excited to get a size smaller with a hood and I love it! It is easy to clean and store. It is very important to take time to season it correctly before using it. It’s a simple process and will make all the difference. It is also important to cook on a low temperature setting. These get really hot really fast. I love the wide variety of food that can be cooked on the Blackstone. It has quickly become my favorite way to cook all meals! No more grease splattering on the stove or smoke alarms while cooking sausage and bacon! Now I cook them outdoors. I would highly recommend this griddle to anyone looking for an outdoor grill. I look forward to cooking on it year-round!

I can’t wait for SpringI can’t wait for Spring to use my new Blackstone Griddle.
Unfortunately, North East Ohio is not currently conducive to outdoor cooking.
There is 8 inches of snow and ,freezing Temps currently.
Next Spring I am gonna love this thing.
Can’t wait.

Love my BlackstoneI was super excited for this Blackstone Pro Series 2 burner propane griddle; it is an upgrade to a Blackstone I have had a few years now. The Blackstone grill is excellent and you can literally grill anything from burgers, to eggs, to pancakes, hot dogs, fruit, veggies, etc. My favorite thing to make on my Blackstone is cheesesteaks! This grill will last you a very long time as long as it is cared for properly. A couple things I recommend is to keep it clean and “seasoned” like you would a cast iron skillet, get a grill cover to protect it from the elements especially if left outdoors and get a griddle kit that includes everything you need to grill and clean. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the assembly was pretty bad. I had put together my previous Blackstone, by myself, quickly and with zero issues. This model I had a ton of issues with the screws not fitting right or screwing in completely. I did get everything together but not as “tightly” as I would like but it works. I would recommend for assembly that you have two people and one with strong hands who can use strength and force getting the screws in.

Performs well but there were issues– Made in China
– 2 wheels, very sturdy, no locking lever
– Knobs are plastic
I really like this but it did have a few disappointing things.
1. The front brand panel had some very sharp metal sticking off and there were no screw holes where the instructions said there would be. Both are things that I wouldn’t have expected to find on something from this brand. As a result, they don’t get our free advertising.
2. The griddle assembly sits down in holes on the frame. Those holes did not match the protrusions on the griddle. It caused us some nasty scratching and although it mostly can’t be seen from the front, it is nevertheless disappointing.
We ended up having to put a mongo screwdriver in and wedge it to bend the lip of the hole. Only the 2 back holes are keyhole, slide to lock in, and I don’t consider that very secure either, even though it’s cast iron.
3. Griddle finish, inside and out, was unsightly. I don’t really know if that’s me expecting too much but I have a lot of cast iron cookware so I know it doesn’t need to look that roughly finished.
4. Knobs are plastic. Very obviously so.
I can only do 2 pix so I kind of shoved all the issues into them.
Having whined about all that, it’s working well for us. The heat is centered in about 2/3s of the available area. That leaves a last 1/3 split between each side for keep-warm area and I like that. It heats quickly and the even plate distributes it uh evenly.
Because performance in more important to me, I’m going with 4 stars, but I want it noted that the issues above do detract from our enjoyment.

Great for cooking a whole meal at one timeThe 22 inch proseries pedestal griddle grill measures overall 45 and 3/4 inches wide by 22 and 3/4 inches deep and 38 and 1/4 inches high. The grill comes with a 1 yr. warranty.
The grill has 2 independent heat zones and runs on propane. The griddle has to be seasoned/blackened before the first use but it is easily done and is easy to keep the quality of the griddle up by continuing to keep a thin layer of oil on the griddle after each use. We love that you can cook a full meal at one time on the grill and it has plenty of room for your meat and sides.

Good griddle, unnecessarily difficult assemblyI was excited to receive this griddle, as I’ve never owned one before and I’ve heard good things about them. This one is a decent size for my family’s needs. It’s not too small or too large. Setting it up was a bit of a process. The instructions themselves are fairly straightforward and easy to understand. The problem is that the holes for the screws are slightly too small and it’s a pain trying to get the screws to go into them very far at all. It took a lot of elbow grease for most of them once we ever got them to go in (a couple screws just had to stay at partially screwed in). We were unable to attach the Blackstone name plate because on the left side, the screw holes didn’t go all the way through, so a screw couldn’t attach. It didn’t matter to us if the name plate was on it, but it’s a design flaw. I’m not sure if all of the griddles have this problem or if it’s just mine. All in all, it took us 1 hour & 20 minutes to build, which would’ve been a lot less if they had gone with Allen wrench bolts instead and drilled the proper-sized holes. As far as the griddle itself, I can’t complain at all. It heats quickly and the heat is distributed quite evenly. The surface is plenty big enough for cooking several items at once (which is great for breakfast items) and clean up is quick & easy. We’ve gotten good use out of it and I would recommend it, despite the assembly issues.

Great GrillI love this Blackstone 22″ ProSeries Griddle! It’s a perfect size, 2 burner handsome looking, well-made propane BBQ grill. It a flat top cooking space, that once seasoned allows me to use it to make anything I want for any meal be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. This will also come in handy during any power outages we may have because it is propane and can be used outdoors any time of year.
When assembling my grill, I found that one of the front legs had two places when the manufacturer missed tapping the holes for a couple machined screws, and also didn’t include a couple of screws needed for assembly. I promptly contacted the company who responded right away and also ordered replacement for the screws and leg!
This is not my 1st Blackstone brand grill and definitely not my last. They make great products to last and are very responsive to customer inquiries.

DisappointedI suspect this item may have been a previous return. There was a broken screw from the burner that was not in the box with the burner in it so it was not damaged in shipping. Two of the holes on the left side where the emblem attaches were missing and had to be drilled out. No – I did not build it wrong. (Retired engineer here). Every single screw and the hole it went in was covered in paint. The unit had scratches on the shiny part of the emblem on the front and elsewhere. Had I not needed it for a special occasion I would have returned it. For what these units cost I would expect better quality control.
