The End All of Do All[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My original Dremel Mdl #270 moto-tool was over 40 years old when it finally gave up on me July of last year. It was a simple constant speed collet model and served me well, but my skills and the complexity of my projects have progressed significantly over the years. I decided on a new Dremel model 4300 variable speed tool with the accessory kit. An excellent choice for both beginner and experienced hobbyists and I feel it was more than competitively priced especially for the versatility it offers. I also paired it with a new model 220 Drill Press. I could not be more delighted with ability to turn out unique high quality projects and gifts! The variable speed and keyless chuck lets me drill, grind, sand, cut, and router quickly and flawlessly. I highly recommend this tool or any of Dremel’s fine line of products and accessories and I look forward to many more years of faithful service from this purchase. Please see the attached photos of projects I have completed since buying my new Dremel Tools.

Fantastic tool, great attachments, fun to use[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have previously used other various rotary tools for hobby work. But when a special project came up (restoring one of my Grandfather’s old knives for my brother as a gift) I wanted a tool that had more options, variable speed, and better accessories than the generic tools I had before.
The 4300-5/40 was on sale at the time, so I snapped it up, along with a few other accessories, and turned some old bits of laced maple burl, walnut burl, and a small piece of ebony into new grips for the blade, and a decorative knife block.
This was not about making really ‘functional’ grips, but restoring a knife that was the only keepsake my brother had of our grandfather. I used the various bits and tools for the 4300 to shape the grips as well as route out the knife block.
It came out beautifully. The variable speed came in handy when working on the ultra soft laced maple burl and the extra hard ebony. My previous rotary tools would not have handled it with any ease at all.

Variable speedI bought this to replace my last one that burned out. I bought it because of the variable speed control on it and found out I like it so much better. When I’m carving birds I can slow it down to get into more detail work with it. I am also still learning about this tool, it’s a lot of fun. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

A must have!!![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the 4300 variable speed Dremel. I do woodworking for a hobby. I use it for so many different things it is hard to list them all. It is a workhorse and the variable speed is great to have for different applications, drilling, sanding, grinding and especially routing. I also have the Dremel mini router table and bits that works great as well. The Dremel drill press attachment is another must for this tough tool. Love it and again, I could not do what I do without these great and innovative products.

Outstanding tool[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this tool for over 2 years and have built 16 windmills 15” x13” x 22” high. With the 4300 series I cut and shaped 95% of the solid oak material using many of the accessories the tool came with.

An Outstanding ToolI got my new model 4300 rotary tool in July 2020 after having my last one for nearly 40 years. I am a prolific hobbyist and use it almost daily. The accessories and versatility of the tool is unequaled. As with any product there can be problems, but to date, my new 4300 has worked flawlessly!

Dependable power and quality for the price.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the 4300 to carve all detail on this piece , I also used it to remove a great deal of the bulk waste around the trees to 1 1/2” deep in most areas, with the right bits this machine holds up very well to hours of use.
Chuck does come loose occasionally but that seems to happen only when I apply to much pressure. What you see here is approximately 80 hours work.
One thing I would have liked to have seen In the kit was several chuck options and a flex shaft included would have been awesome.

Work Horse[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work these dremels to the bone! I use dremel exclusively for my projects. Sometimes running them hours at a time. I replace the brushes regularly and add a little lube for extended performance!
I love my dremel!
