New replacement battery for a 5 year old 2.0A battI love my EGO power+ equipment, and every so often, the batteries wear out. This battery is a replacement for one from 2017, so I am satisfied with the performance, the fast charging, and the relative quiet compared to running similar gas-powered tools.

Great battery, remember you get what you pay for!!I use it on my sidewalk edger and hedge clippers! Took hedge clippers to do work at church and battery ran for what seemed like an hour. Still had two green lights remaining! Happy camper!!

Definitely powerfulIts definitely power. Slightly smaller than my battery for my mower. But just as powerful. The battery time last long enough. I’m interested in more Ego tools!

Breath of new life!I acquired this replacement as a warranty issue. The person that assisted me with the process was extremely helpful, cordial and professional in helping me to rectify this situation. The new 2.5 Amp hour was charged and put to use on my weed eater. It was like the machine incurred a dose of epinephrine as it roared through the yard without issues. After the task was completed, there were three (3) bars remaining. In comparison, the older battery yielded only a single bar. I am very appreciative with the new battery and the superior warranty that has been provided.

Ego is the best!!I love my 56V Ego tools and when one of my batteries went bad during the warranty, I had help troubleshooting it. Then when it still did not work, I was quickly sent a free replacement. I also like the new fuel gauge on the battery that gives more of a detailed status.

Strong battery and wonderful fuel gaugeI am extremely impressed with both the consistant power of the battery throughout the operation of my equipment and the accuracy of the fuel gauge throughout the operation. The fuel Guage should be an industry standard for battery powered equipment.

EGO Hedge TrimmerI have owned a corded electric hedge trimmer, which wore out. I researched many battery powered hedge trimmers and finally purchased the EGO hedge trimmer. It makes a nice clean cut on shrubs and I do not see any loss in power compared to my old corded trimmer. The EGO trimmer has a lot of power plus I now have the option to purchase other EGO products which are interchangeable. Lastly, it is great not to worry about cutting the power cord while trimming.
