Happy 70 year old lady.Instructions and assembly were a snap. The battery charge last as long as I do. About an hour, working on a hill is about my limit in hot weather. I have lots of rock walls and borders that had become overgrown in ivy. This trimmer has made easy work at restoring their beauty. I find replacing the string a bit testy with any trimmer but this is by far the best I have ever had. My last purchase, another brand, was such a pain that I gave it away the first time the string needed replacing. Have since ordered your leaf blower and chain saw. I also have a wish list for more EGO products.

Go EGO !!!After being a homeowner for 14 years i finally decided to go electric. I must say how impressed i am with these products so far. All are very well made and lightweight and notice no end result difference from gas powered equipment. Seems a little expensive at first until you factor in the savings of maintenance and fuel. Time will tell on overall battery life and usage but for a 1/4 acre yard and less these are a perfect fit !!!

Power+ 15″ String Trimmer is a joy to use. This most excellent string trimmer is a breeze to reload and it is a pleasure to use and I am using it to cut thru decades of tall tough monster grass out back and, without the hassle of a gas trimmer, I am opening trails down to the river that runs thru my place. And for the first time we will have easy access to our future river side beach & boat marina!

Weed EaterDo your research and find out if someone in your neighborhood has one and Al them what they think and try it out. I believe you will enjoy it like I have.

No fuss!No starting a gas motor. Just works when you click the button. Lasts a long time. Cuts good. Nice handle and guard. Battery charges fast and has a 5year warranty. Worth every penny. Buy this and the leaf blower and youll never look back or be happier! I love these tools!

Overall a great tool, but the weight …Great trimmer with an exceptional duration on a single charge. have not had any problem reloading and has never jammed on me. I use it to trim the edges near walls and other yard barriers, along with using it as a sidewalk edger (vertical cut) to give my grass a nice clean cut against the sidewalk.
My only complaint would be the weight and the fact that I have to buy a carrying strap separately. It feels like Ego knows that the weight would be a concern, but to achieve that level comfort I would have to go out and purchase it separately!

Rusty blades after one use.I wish there was better instructions regarding preventing rust. My blades completely rusted after one use. They were not very wet, but putting the blade guard on caused them to never dry, I assume. The blade guard should probably have breathing holes if the blades are going to be so rust-prone.

Broke easilyPoorly made hit a rock and the metal head cracked which is not covered by warranty because it’s accidental damage and I get that but there’s no reason it should have cracked that easily

Trouble with String TrimmerNot sure why they call it rapid reload as mine is not rapid and it is a very manual and labor intensive process to replace the line which seems to runout much faster than any other trimmer I have owned. The head actually broke after less than a year and I’m not sure what to do with the thing.
