Wonderful Scooter/A must BuyI just recently received my scooter and I can say that so far,I love this scooter a lot! It is very fun and fast! I weight about 235-238lbs, and the scooter performs very well with my weight. The folding techniques is very easy and anyone can fold or put the scooter together right out the box. The scooter is a little bit on the heavy side tho, but it is manageable to carry. I mainly bought it to do grocery runs, since parking around my way is a bit scarce. I’m able to carry a couple of bags on the main stem where there is a hook. The LCD display is very cool and you can manage certain aspects of the scooter through there. The throttle is very smooth and responsive. The more you push down with your thumb the faster you’ll go. PS. I had to add some stickers of my own to fufill certain areas where I felt the scooter was naked and they look like factory stickers! Try some different styles for yourselves.

THE BEST SCOOTER EVER MADE.I love this scooter, its fast and helps me catch the train and get to work on time, this goes 16mph on a slope and 15-16mph on level ground and 8-10mph going up on a hill.. and can run for even more than 9 miles on a fully charged battery.
Its worth it…love it… and please handle with care, not jumping on it like scathing-board…lol…
wish they installed lights in them, but thats not a big deal, ordered some simple lites for it

Review of Hover-1Bought this product for $200 which had a $100 dollar discount from it’s original listed price. When I initially ordered this product, the right handle on the first item sent to me would not screw into the post of the scooter and so I returned the scooter for a replacement. Walmart offers at home pickup during the return process which is very convenient. The second scooter I received was damaged. When the handle bar is in the down position, you are supposed to be able to lock it into the rear wheel guard by way of a plastic tab which on the scooters post. The tab that’s supposed to click into the rear wheel guard was broken off. It arrived like this from the manufacturer (picture included). I tested the scooter and found that the ride, because it doesn’t have any shock absorbers, can be a bit stiff and you feel a good amount of vibration in the body. I was able to get an average of 7 miles of travel on a relatively flat pitch of road, almost no incline. All and all, I would recommend carrying the charger with you so you can maximize the distance that you get from the scooter. Because the scooter arrived damaged from the manufacturer, I’m probable going to return it.

Good product if not broken on deliveryGood scooter if you get one that isn’t broken. Ordered two of them. One came working fine and the second one came broken out of the box. Ordered another and that one was broken also, hoping the third one isn’t broken.

Speedometer goes way faster than actual speedI weigh around 130 lbs so here is my honest review of everything:
Braking- on flat terrain it does pretty well but
When you are on a decline, it DOESN’T go to a complete stop at all and it takes about 3 sec for it to slow down
Speed- the speedometer ramps up really quickly but the speed itself is not accurate. It takes 3 seconds for it to show 16 mph but it takes 21 seconds for it to actually get there(I counted)
Build- I have a hover 1 pioneer and the build is considerably stronger; this one is not that bad. When riding on the road it does make rattling noise. The feet area is way longer and the scooter is taller. I’m 5’3 and it goes to my chest.
Interface- The interface is very simple to read showing the odometer, mph, battery life, and the levels of speed. It has three buttons: power on, up and down.
If you are looking for a cheap but well made scooter, keep scrolling. Instead get a pioneer or another scooter.

Please be careful on this scooter (malfunction)Be carful. Breaks will suddenly stop working. Ordered 3 and they all have the same problem. My child had to jump off to stop himself from
Getting hurt. Wheels will keep going while no one is on the scooter driving it. It’s a reject or has some type of malfunction. 1st scooter we ordered broke so we ordered a second one and the breaks wouldn’t work. I returned the second 1 and ordered a 3rd and it had the same problem. If you let your kids ride it please be careful. It’s a great price because it comes with issues. Also the hook was broken that attached to the handle bars. It could had broken off while getting delivered.

Do not buy this scooter!Do not buy this scooter. First, It is not true that it goes 16 mph, It may go 14 mph per 5 minutes and then it start to go lower and lower. Second, I have bought it 20 days ago and it has just broken ( I got hurt) (look at the picture). Third, the battery display do not tell the real battery that it has left.

Purchased two scooters.
Both frames were broken within 2 months, one broke partially as pictured. The other broke completely in half. No assistance from manufacturer.
Did not hold up to a 140 lb teenage boy.

TrashTook a day longer than Wal-Mart said it would. First the box was damaged. I open it up and the brake pedal is dented. Plastic piece on the handlebars was busted. Since part of the original box is taped, it looks like they sent me a damaged return. I guess Wal-Mart thought maybe they could get someone to just deal with it.
