– bike comes in a box 90% assembled. You need basic tools to complete assembly. Like a phillips screwdriver, allen keys, and a wrench, air pump. Some of the install includes loosening the front brakes, installing the front wheel, re-tightening and re-adjusting the front brakes, installing and tightening the front handlebar, pumping more air into the tires. Took me 30 minutes to finish assembling and I didn’t even have to use the instructions. I had to re-position the gear shifter and right hand brake on the handle bar. This required removing the rubber handgrip to be able to do this. I think the install is fairly easy for anyone that knows how to assemble a bike and use the basic tools mentioned above.

Great bike to learn gearsWe bought two of these bikes one in each color. The boys version and girls version appear to be the same bike just painted different colors. We are very pleased so far with the bikes. This is a great bike to learn how to use years without being overwhelmed with 21 of them! The bike is very well-made and the brakes work well. We did take it to a bike shop to be put together to make sure that there were no issues with the gears or breaks.

Granddaughter loves itThe Hyper 20” Swift Magenta Bike was a present for my 7 yr old granddaughter. She loves this bike and it is teaching her how to use gears and front and back breaks. At first she had a difficult time due to never riding a bike with gears and both front and back having breaks but she’s gotten much better and absolutely loves this bike and will be riding it for a long time to come. It was easy to put together and seems to be made of decent materials.

Love the color. Bad tire in less than a monthNice bike but within a month the back tire was completely flat and we needed to replace it… I read that in other reviews and should have listened to the warnings. It was easily assembled my husband and two younger boys. It’s a great color and my daughter loves it though. Hopefully nothing else happens with it.

Gimme a BrakeThe brake levers are too far from the handle grips for kids hands. It would be awesome if they could adjust to be closer.

I would say 3 stars because my daughter loves the idea of a mountain bike so she’s happy but the person who spent the money, not happy…whoever welded this bike was blind.

Issues with front frame, tire and wheelTypically the design is good but when I received the order and was trying to assemble other parts for the bike, I discovered that front frame that supposed to connect with front tire wheel is narrow and cannot fit together.
The front tire and wheel found bent, see attached photos
I have to returned the item.

2 things: It is heavy and it is very hard to use the gears. We cannot even get it in first gear at all.

Front shocks bent so bad can’t assemble bike!This item was shipped to me broken and unusable. The socks were bent. My daughter thought Santa Clause sent her a Broken Bike!
