Well builtI bought this bike for my 13yr old grandson who has a slight disability. He just recently learned how to ride on my daughter’s small 20 inch bike. Once he learned how to balance we upgraded and got him this bike. I thought he would have trouble to balance since it was a little bigger, but the 1st day he rode it like an expert. The only thing I would need to adjust the seat a little higher, which requires tools to unscrew the bolts. Some other Hyper bikes are tool free if the seat needs to be adjusted. He have not tested on shifting the speed yet. He doesn’t complain that the seat is too hard so I assuming it’s fitting for him. A friend had assembled the bike within 30 mins or less from the box. Very light weight, front/ back brake works fine. Perfect size 24 inch for height 4’8 – 5’2 or whoever can handle it. I was somewhat leery of the price thought is was cheaply made, but the bike is well built. I look forward to purchasing this brand again in a 26 inch size for myself

Perfect for 13yr oldBought it for my 13yr old son. He’s about 5′ tall. Loved it! Fit him perfectly and he was about ready to give up the BMX-style bikes with the pegs. This was suited for his 8th grade riding ability/friends. We’re keeping the BMX, but this mountain bike is TOO cool! He loves the complexity of it over the Mongoose he has. I can see him doing some off-road riding on this, conditioning himself for football. Definitely a conditioning tool we’ll be using for years to come, as he can grow into it even better over the next couple of years.

It’s a great bike for the money.Great value for the money. This bike seems well made for the most part. I would say that for the average user, mostly street and light trail use, it’ll be fine. Assembly was straight forward and parts fit well. But it is an entry level bike, always remember that value is directly related to cost. Is it a “top end” off road mountain bike? No it’s not. But for a little over $100.00, it’s a beautiful bicycle.

decided to change bike from 20 to 24″ enough of bike to grow into for 8 year old 4’5″ boy he can ride it fine and likes it. box seen better days but bike is fine. minimal adjustment on rear detailer, instructions included. easy to assemble with basic tools that should be in every household. 108 w/FreeShipping

Cant be beat for the buck.This was purchased for my 12 year old grandson. It fits a 12 yoa and works well. Packaging was more than adequate and arrived in great shape. Cant be beat for the price and is taking the abuse a pre-teen can dish out.

Arrived brokenThis bike arrived with the wrong front wheel (will not fit) and the circularr piece connecting the frame to the handlebars bent. My husband can fix and put together anything so he managed to get the handlebars on but after the wheel wouldn’t fit and was the wrong type we were DONE. I should have known with the condition the box was in…I took a pic before we opened it just in case. Walmart clearly sent us a return without checking the item and customer service was less tgan helpful on getting me a replacement before we leave for vacation. My son is very disappointed.

beware of the weld jobwe took off for a quick ride around the block when all of a sudden my sons bike fell apart and he crashed to the cement with a thud! I cant believe this bike broke like this!!

The bike is great but arrive brokenIf you want to buy this bike, make sure that you order for pick up at store or don’t buy online to be delivered at home… the speed changer come broken and the red light too

Buying in store is a safer optionPurchased online. The front bars on the frame are at an angle that can’t fit the tire correctly. It appears to be manufactured that way. Multiple screws we’re almost completely out and crooked, as well as one reflector broken upon delivery. Buying in store seems like a safer option.
