Some assembly tips included in my reviewOh boy where do I begin. I bought this for my 3 1/2 year old daughter who has a thing for dolls and dollhouses. She wanted the Barbie Dreamhouse but if Im going to spend that much I want something big that will last that can hold not just Barbies but all her dolls and figurines.
This meets those expectations. Its big enough for barbies. Even the garage perfectly fits the pink convertible.
My daughter has a step stool which she uses to reach the top floor. This thing is huge! But its not super heavy once put together. Easy to slide across carpet. It DOES come with the hardware needed to secure it to the wall and I highly recommend doing so especially for the younger ones who could attempt to climb. Mine isn’t a climber but its secured to the wall just incase.
Some assembly tips:
1: there are quite a few pieces. Sort it all by numbers before starting. The wooden house pieces are numbers like 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.
2: open the accessories and unwrap them before starting. They are numbered different as 4 digit numbers. There are some pieces in the accessories box that you will need for the house (elevator and stairs)
3: Most steps can be done alone but a few steps will require a second person.
4: the 3 blue window pieces have to have the brown sticker protective paper peeled off. This did not peel off easily like a sticker. And was kinda difficult to get off.
5: There were two pieces where the cut of the hole just did not quite align so I had to struggle to get the screw to go in. This is understandable due to the wood and type of product this is and how it is made.
6: do not use an electric screwdriver.
7. Pay attention to the direction the pieces go. I had to redo the whole left side because I put it in with the grooved part for the back wall to go in on the front instead of the back.
8: there is no off button for the lamp. It goes off on its own after a few seconds.
Side note: It looks cool if its set up against a natural light that can shine behind the window on the right (see photo).
Overall this is an awesome dollhouse and my daughter flipped out the morning she woke up and saw it. Absolutely worth it. Well done KidKraft we love it!

Awesome must buyFor the price it is well worth it. I would suggest putting it together at least 2 days prior but otherwise it was so big and beautiful out baby girl loves it.

doll housemy 6 year old daughter loved this house, definitely worth the money.. this house entertained her for hours and was not to hard to build it took my husband a hour..even my son enjoyed playing along with his sister.

Way better than the Barbie Dream HouseThis is so cool. We are giving this to our daughter for her birthday and we were going back and forth on the Barbie dream house (which is $20 more) and this . So much more for your money. This is way cooler than the Barbie dream house – the lamp lights up the toilet flushes the elevator moves smooth. Can not wait for our daughter to see it. My husband said it took some time to put together but not hard and the instructions are good. If you have the space I totally recommend this wood house over the plastic Barbie dream house.

Its wonderfulMy little girl was over the moon to receive this for Christmas. It is so tall its above her head right now but should last for years to come. The elevator is a little tough right now but I assume it will loosen up and the sticky tape for the fan isn’t strong enough but all in all its a wonderful product and gives a great opportunity for multiple kids to play together

Must buy!Great doll house! Better than Barbie dream home. Took 5 hours but we did wood glue and adhesive to make sure it stays together well. Honestly the best house we have bought. Highly recommend downloading BUILT and using that to put it together. Going to be loads of fun playing with this mansion. We use the garage as a horse stable

Beyond our expectations so far!It’s a little rough putting it together but once you’re done it’s HUGE. Seems like it’s much sturdier than the “Barbie” brand dream house that we replaced with this one. The parts seem sturdy and they are perfect size for Barbie dolls. Also plan to have room for this thing because of the massive size. The pictures can’t even capture how big it truly is!

Great Dollhouse!!Definitely use the app BILT to build this house!! It was a lifesaver and made it so much easier than other dollhouses I’ve put together! The only problem I had was a couple screws snapped off pretty easily just hand turning. (And there were no extra parts.) Also, some of the pieces were a little scratched. Other than that, it’s pretty FANTASTIC! My daughter is in LOVE!! She is 6!

Just buy the Barbie brand dream houseWas upset as they already upcharged! I purchased for $168 and then come to find out listing changed from Walmart to a 3rd party (Tyeztoyz) so I paid $40 more and it arrived damaged very unsatisfied! Just stick with Barbie dream house the corners are damaged as well on some pieces. Maybe last a year..

Unhappy customerBought this house for my daughter for Christmas and multiple pieces are broken and not able to fix. Paid a lot of money for it and a lot of pieces are also not together right making it unstable. The directions are in a different language and not easily readable either.
