Bye Bye Smokey Joe! We LOVE our Masterbuilt!Love the smoker Whole Turkey fit fine NO PROBLEM! ! Thermostat and timer are great and everything we’ve smoked has been juicy and delicious. . Started outwit whole turkey. Also put acorn squash in with a chicken. Yummy! Barely releases any smoke so we can put it right on our patio. Our old smokey Joe had to be used 20 ft awayfrom the house or the whole place smelled like bacon. We didn’t want all the bells and whistles or to spend too much. The features are adequate and it works great. We are Very happy! Highly Recommend A++

My First SmokerVery happy with this purchase. Seems well constructed and very few things to put together to set it up. I am a beginner at smoking meats and have only used it once to make smoked pulled pork and we really enjoyed it. Will have to see if it stands the test of time. Buying the extension legs with wheels so I can move it around easier and a cover so that I can keep it outside.

Easy as 3..2..1This smoker makes it easy enough for my kids to make dinner… Comes up to speed quick, keeps within 3 to 5 degrees of set temp. Just got done smoking some pork ribs.. just as good as our local joint. Love this thing.

Damaged in shipping – the back was dented and the back no longer secured to top 2 rivets. – have not tried it yet – but will plug in and see if loses any function.

It’s a good smokerMy daughter has this same smoker. She loves hers. Im using mine for the 1st time. The negative is it came pretty badly dented. I examined it and it doesn’t appear to have damaged the integrity. Im looking forward to tasting my chicken in and hour. The digital display is very hard to read in the sun. I think its a very good cooker for the money. I added longer legs with wheels.

Eh. You could do worse.Decent for price point. Doesnt hold consisten temp in my experiences so far. Ive been smoking for 20 years, this isnt the best or worst ive used. It will make due now that i know i need to have it on 275 degrees the whole time. Also slows down smoking when youve put a couple trays worth of wood in so plan to dump the ash at least once on an 8 hour smoke but thats explainable.

You get what you pay forNot the best construction but I guess you get what you pay for. Doesnt drain well, and I have used in 5 times and the water bowl is starting to corrode.

Arrived with faulty electronic controlSmoker arrived with small dent in back panel casing. Electronics and heating element control ceased working with 300 degree readout for internal cabinet temperature prior to any use other than seasoning per the manual.
