Perfect!!This cage is perfect i love that it comes with a divider so I bought the size my puppy will need as a grown adult and I’m using the divider to cut off space I don’t need and move it as he grows it’s nice to not have to keep buying cages as they grow. It’s made well and easy to put together and disassemble I like how the tray easily pulls out to clean now what I don’t like is the latches how they are straight across and doesn’t have a “L” shape to lock it in good I haven’t had any issues with my puppy escaping to trying to but if u have a dog who likes to escape this one is a easy one! Other than that it’s perfect! I have a English bulldog puppy and I got the 36”

Dog Crates for Big Parrots Travel needs!A good travel cage is essential for bird owners who understand the need to take our feathered family members out and about. Constant stimulation and activity is essential especially for larger birds and critical for a happy Macaw! While foldable travel cages are readily available for Amazons and smaller parrots, it’s a real challenge to find a good travel cage for a bird with a wingspan approaching 5′ and a head to tail measurement of 3′. Midwest iCrates have provided an excellent solution. I have purchased an ‘Intermediate’ size Double Door iCrate for “Blu” my six year old Blue and Gold Macaw. It’s great! I have just ordered a ‘Medium’ iCrate as well. Having tried the “Intermediate’ size strapped to the passenger seat, it’s clear that Blu can handle the next smaller size for that application, passenger seat travel to the park and around town. I’ll be using the larger version for extended cross country trips. Yep, Blu is like a feathered dog and would love to hang his head out of the passenger window, say Hi to other cars and take in the big world as we drive. Now that we have a good travel cage solution, he will not be in my lap wanting to play as we drive! Keep’m happy!

Dog Crates for Big Parrots! As posted February 10th and updated this date; A good travel cage is essential for bird owners who understand the need to take our feathered family members out and about. Constant stimulation, socialization and activity are essential especially for larger birds and critical for a happy Macaw! While foldable travel cages are marketed and readily available for birds like Amazons and smaller birds, it’s a real challenge to find a good travel cage for a bird with a wingspan approaching 5′ and a head to tail measurement of 3′. MidWest iCrates has provided an excellent solution. I purchased an ‘Intermediate’ size Double Door iCrate for “Blu” my six year old Blue and Gold Macaw. It’s great! I now have a ‘Medium’ iCrate as well. Photos below. It straps to the passenger seat for travel to the park and around town and for times when my ‘feathered dog’ wants to be up front with me interacting with other cars and their passengers, pedestrians and the world as it goes by. I’ll be using the larger version for extended cross country trips as it will allow for hanging toys and feeding bowls. Yep, Blu is like a feathered dog and would love to hang his head out the passenger window, say Hi to everyone and take in the big world as we drive. Now that we have a good travel cage solution, he will not be in my lap wanting to play as we drive! Keep’m happy! iCrates points of interest: Easy to unfold and set up. The included divider panel can be installed horizontally just above the removable pan as a grate. For birds, the pan would have a thin layer of crushed walnut shells to absorb droppings. iCrates have heavier gage wire construction that other options. Double Door allows easy access ‘in and out’ while travel cage is strapped in place. Not too heavy considering the required strength and sturdiness for Pooch or energetic, active Big Birds! Very reasonably priced for their good quality construction.

Great Crate! This crate was everything I hoped it would be. It’s sturdy, very easy to assemble and has a lock-in divider that I can adjust as my puppy grows. I have not gotten my pup yet, so no hands on experience but my cats seem to like it fine so far!

Blue kennel crateBox came messed up. The piece that goes inside to make it smaller. Was so stuck. It took me forever to get it out and it scratched the paint off. Other than that I do love it. But it’s not big enough for my liking. I have a 9pound yorkie and I got the M size she needs a large. Dogs need more room so it never gets used now

Great value for the money.Great buy. The price is awesome. The cage is large and came with a partician so I can divide the cage. Very easy to assemble. I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. My only reason not giving it a 5 star is because the metal is thinner than my other cage which is 5 years old. It appears thinner, however only time will tell if it just as sturdy.

I would have given 5 stars if the bottom tray was not cracked and broken. Sent an email about this and no response. This cage was not cheap and it comes broken. My puppy likes his new kennel so I do not want to return it. I just want the tray replaced! I would like someone to address this problem. I have included pictures Wish I could send more.

junkpuppy chewed up the plastic tray first time she was put in it.
