$178.39 – $181.59
The Midwest homes for pets XXL dog crate is specifically designed for the largest breed of dogs, including Great Danes, mastiffs, and st. Bernards. Made of heavy-duty metal, it features a large front and side door to make it easy for your canine to get in and out of the crate. On the side, there are three secure latches. On the bottom, there is a leak-proof plastic pan that’s easy to clean, as needed. This 54″ dog crate uses four-drop-pin construction to deliver maximum stability and safety when handling a large breed dog. It’s also equipped with a patent-pending l-bar that horizontally runs along the middle of the top panel, so the side panels do not bow inward after assembly.

GREAT PRICE AND PRODUCT!I bought this crate for my white german shepherd and her next future litter of german shepherd puppies. She had 10-14 puppies in a litter and needed something larger than the 48′ crate so she wouldn’t lay on her puppies or accidently step on them. I have been looking on and off for the 54” crate and they were at least $169.00 without taxes and shipping(if needed). This was shipped to my house within a week and for less than $160.00! I haven’t used it yet,but it came in great shape, because I looked at the pieces! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND GETTING THIS CRATE!

Big and sturdy, as it should beExactly as described.
I actually bought it for a smaller type of dog, so it’s basically a doggie mansion.
Pain in the neck to put together by yourself (not that it was recommended), but not impossible.

Huge for 9 m/o Dane. Not difficult to assemble.I almost did not purchase this crate due to the multiple bad reviews. Glqd I purchased it qnyway. Other than the people who recieved damaged or warped crates, I’m not sure why there are so many reviews claiming it is difficult to assemble. I’m 4’11”, 90 lbs, had 3 kids under 5 in the same room, and I assembled it alone without any real difficulties. The aforementioned children are in one of the review photos to show the enormity of the crate. The 9 month old Great Dane is in the other photo.
Luckily for me, besides a slightly warped top piece, none of my pieces were bent, warped, or broken. Took about 30-40 minutes to assemble. Certainly would have been faster if I’d had someone helping, like the manual recommends.

Not GoodWhen I got the product the bottom tray was broken right does the middle! Alot of the pieces were also bent. The shipping was delayed so it took alot longer to get here than it was suppose to.

Non carefulCage is cracked. When unboxed noticed. Unsure if it came like that or if it was manipulation.

Item defectiveThe plastic flooring was broken upon receipt and some of the metal bars were bent and had to be unbent to be used.

I ordered a large dog crate, when it arrived the tray was broken. I reordered another one and it did arrive. I requested a return label to send the damaged one back but to no avail I never received the label. I called numerous times to fix the problem. On my last call I spoke to a lady named May. I wanted to talk to a supervisor but could not. May finally came back on the line and told me I did not have to return the damaged one as I have had so many problems with Walmart. I have donated the damaged item to an animal shelter and I am not responsable for Walmarts mistakes.,
