Friends have raved about this product!So I’ve heard really positive things about this sandbox. I am a couple weeks away from setting mine up in our yard. We are converting our backyard to artificial turf in an effort to conserve water. Unfortunately, the job has been delayed for a while. This has prevented me from assembling our sandbox. As soon as we can get the artificial turf in, we will set up the area for the kids with this sandbox as one of its featured elements. The kids are really looking forward to it. I think the design is really smart with the set in benches and the canopy to provide shade. I love that at the end of the day, we can cover the sandbox with the lid. We have lots of visitors to our backyard (squirrels, birds, cats, coyotes) so it’s important to keep them out of the sandbox. I will provide additional information once we can set up this sandbox in our back yard.

It’s worth 5 stars but….The box is nicely packaged and all items were here. It is so worth 5 stars based off of the completed product however there was a very strange smell when we got all wood out and was ready to assemble. It was a garden/earthy smell and a STRONG odor of a chemical that is used on pressure treated lumber. It caused a coughing spell for my husband that is a daily handyman and he was unsure of exactly what it was so please be cautious! As for the finished product, it is AWESOME! The grandkids LOVED it. We filled it with WATER beads first because it has a mesh liner inside the bottom and then when the rain passed we put it by the Cabana for some blue Crayola sand.. Had a ball!

QualityThis sandbox is made of good quality materials. It comes with easy to understand instructions. It took me approx two hours to put this together. I used a power drill for the assembly. I don’t plant to use sand in the box. Instead I plan to use plastic balls. I am happy with this product. It’s perfect for small children. The box seats up to 4 little people at a time. I love the awning to help keep them shaded from the sun.

Playing in the sandLove the color of the sandbox. Easy to put together and heavy. Make sure you put it together or have someone help you move it. The bench is slated for 200lbs, but I would not try that. I would only use for kids under 6 or 7. I like that it closes to keep the cats from getting in the sand and leaving poopy presents. It provides a great amount of shade, but would suggest that you put a tarp over the sand when it rains- the rain has been crazy this week and the sand got wet. I like that the top can be adjusted. Kids will have a great time in this sandbox. Will take about 4 bags of play sand to fill.

BigThis sandbox looks fantastic. But, I need help putting it all together and getting it filled for the kids to play in.
So right now it’s still in the box in my garage until summer vacations are over and I get some help.
It looks so nice! Love that it closes up so no feral animal uses it for a litter box.
The roof is adjustable. I prefer to have it up high. I want to add some type of wood and shingle type material on the top so it’s completely waterproof. Again, just my preference when I get it up.
Love the bench seats for the kids to sit in. So much better than sitting in the sand.
We’ll probably have it raised up off of the ground so I don’t have to worry about termites getting into the wood.
Well worth the money for this sandbox. Will get years of play with it.

Nice play pitThis sansbox is a great play pit. It was fairly simple to assemble. The cannopy is asjustable so that an adult can sit on the bench if needed. We do not have sand, so we put some toys in it and let the baby stay contained inside it while outside. When we are finished, we can close it right up and protect his things until next time. The bench isn’t very comfortable to sit on for long periods of time, for adults anyway, but it seems fine for kids.

Budget friendly, but not high quality.First, this is NOT an “incetivized review.” Bought this for our kids for Christmas. It’s not the worst, but it’s not the best either. I can’t imagine this lasting long as a few pieces split right in half when assembling it. Thankfully it’s still functional and because of the nature of the gift I will not return. The canopy is flimsy and the velcro doesn’t match up great, but stays. If you’re looking for quality, this is not it. I would recommend this product for a person on budget, but not if you can splurge on something more expensive

Sturdiness isn’t made for childrenPut together March 1st, broke in 2 1/2 months when an entire seat ripped outta the holes when my 1 year old sat down and he went falling backwards. Thankfully he is okay, but the screws ripped open all the holes and it’s impossible to just screw them back in. Disappointed in its sturdiness, but my kids still enjoy playing in the sand in the shade.
