Easy to assemble, sturdy and functionalThis is the first cat tree my cat has ever had and I am very pleased with it – it is attractive-looking (and just the right color for a grey tabby), very stable (did not wobble or tip over), has several levels so my cat can choose to stay on the bottom or climb the ramp to the 2nd level and sit there (she seemed to like that best) or go inside the little covered “cave” and even jump up to one of the two shelves, which she hasn’t done yet (she has stood with her paws on the lower shelf but hasn’t attempted to get up on it). There are three different sisal scratching features (two posts and one panel), as well as two furry balls hanging on strings (one from each shelve). She definitely likes to bat the balls around and did not hesitate to curl up inside the cave for a brief period. It is about 45″ tall when assembled and measures 19″x19″ in width/depth. Assembly was very easy (basically just follow the picture) and took no time at all, even the Allen wrench needed is included with the parts. It is covered in a soft fake fur than can be spot cleaned, but the covering for the “cave” is removable if it has to be washed. My cat is not small so I’m quite relieved that this tree works for her size. In the spring, I will be fostering a few kittens and expect this to be a big hit with them, too.

Our first cat tree…We’ve never had a cat tree before. Kinda wanted one, but weren’t sure the cats would really like it. Finally got the Vibrant Life 5-Level Multi-Functional 45″ Cat Tree… and love it!
It was easy to put together (took my wife and I about 10 minutes) and very stable (which makes it a little heavy). Most importantly though, the cats love it (as can be seen in the pictures). We did notice the younger cat was most enamored of the tree, perhaps because she has only been in the house about a month before we got the tree, whereas the older cat has been at the house for seven years and has already established “her” favorite places. The younger cat also loves the suspended bungee yarn balls, and plays so aggressively with them that she will sometimes flip over and fall off the platform!
Overall, it’s a great product!

Cat Approved! My cats LOVE their new cat tree! They were all over it seconds after it was constructed…what am I saying, they were trying to lay on it and play WHILE it was being constructed. LOL! It took less than 20 minutes to put it together. Very easy to construct, clear instructions, came with the Allen wrench required, and no additional tools needed. The material is super soft which is why I think my cats really love laying and sleeping on it. The perches and cubby hole are big enough for chunky male cats (pictured cats are about 18lbs and 20lbs). They really like the scratching post and hanging cat toys as well. It’s holding up well so far with 3 large male cats climbing, playing, and jumping all over it.

Cat approvesThis is pretty heavy and very well constructed – except for the top tier. My cat kinda wobbles a little on that level – but he’s a cat – he can handle it! The only instructions you get is a picture diagramming what goes where. I was a little confused at first but after studying it for a bit, I put it together without any problems.

Easy assembly and hours of funAt first, I thought Lord help me on how to assemble this. Took a very deep breath and it was super easy. Check this out! Look at my cats, I have 5 indoor fur buddies who were pushing me along as I assembled this most awesome cat tree. They have had non-stop fun and my new velvet chair thanks me too. They took right to this super large tree. My poor Bobcat Konichiwa is so large though he cannot fit into the little cubby, but his house mates don’t mind. This is a piece that is QUALITY and I suggest if you have fur buddies you get you one or two. Anyhow it was very easy to put together and I like that it is quality material. I snapped a ton of pictures of my monsters in action but can only share two here. I have had hours of laughter.

Very Nice!Ms. Kitty is so happy with her new Vibrant Life Cat Tree! I wasn’t sure if she would like it because this is her first one of this height. I placed it next to a window in our living room, and she loves sitting up on the second platform and watching the birds and squirrels! She likes sleeping on the top platform or the cubby hole. She hasn’t used the scratching posts yet, but maybe she will figure those out soon. She literally spends the biggest part of her day on this set and sleeps there every night. She even loves the little cat toys attached. When she’s happy, I’m happy! I’m so glad she loves it! Definitely a great gift idea for your fur baby! Highly recommend!

Cat’s favorite placeMy cat adores this cat tree. His favorite perch is the top tier, but he bounces between both platforms to play with the attached toys. He sat in the covered house once, but definitely prefers the highest platform. He doesn’t really use the scratching posts, but he has a separate scratcher that he loves. While it is a large piece, it fits well in my living room and gives the cat a safe place away from the dogs. I love the color (matches my grey house, and my cat!). Definitely one of the best cat products out there.

Fur son says fun fun fun! You’ve heard of that saying, weebles wobbles but they don’t fall down? That’s the way this cat tower is. When my fur son is playing on the tower, the tower is wobbly but there is no fear of it tipping at least. Granted he’s a decent sized cat, a couple of pounds over weight but also tall and long.
He enjoys using the three different cat scratchers and he loves jumping up on the platforms. So even with the negatives I’m about to mention, it was still worth it because he enjoys it so much.
He is too big to get into the cubby or to crawl through the hole. There is a hole on the second level platform that cats can crawl up through or down through onto the slanted scratcher. The size of the hole is only about 5 inches and I’m glad my guy has sense not to try to push himself through. It would be great if a fleece lined cap was available to cover the hole. Just like with the cubby, he’ll put his head inside and that’s as far as he’ll go. This would be absolutely perfect for kittens or for small cats.
He absolutely loves the two dangling cat toys!
It was rather easy to assemble and that’s with me assembling it, somebody who has severe arthritis. So it can be done!
Would I recommend it? Yes, because the price is reasonable and I know my cat has been thoroughly enjoying it.
The reason for four stars and not five stars is because of the slight wobbliness.

Soft and delightfulThis is a big cat tree – it takes up some space in the room for sure. But if your cats are your babies, then you’re going to love it. It took me 35 minutes to assemble by myself (mid-30s, moderately handy woman), from cutting open the box to throwing out the final bits of trash. I DO have one extra screw…I’m not sure why. It’s listed on the directions, but there’s no indicated hole for it, and the tree is quite secure without it, so I’m just giving up on that one.
Pros:
Soft! Tall!
Easy-ish to assemble
Good neutral color, easy enough to clean w/ your vacuum attachments
Cubby is big enough for big cats
Bobbles are pretty well secured
Everything is solid once assembled
I didn’t find it to be SUPER heavy – I can move it from room to room pretty easily.
Cons:
Instructions are non-existent. You get a diagram, labels for each piece, and then it’s up to you. No guidance on what steps to take first (bottom to top obviously, but I wasn’t sure how to progress as I went along)
OK the cubby part is 2 pieces of wood + 3 pillars + a soft “pillowcase” type thing w/ 2 openings. It’s kind of like putting a full-sized sheet on a queen-sized bed…you hear little rips, but you finally get it over. And then you realize that a screw needs to go through the top of the cubby and there’s NO HOLE in the cover. So you’ve got to cut into the cover just to make a hole for the screw to attach the top pillar. So that’s a minor but irritating design flaw.
Overall it’s a great cat tree and I’m sure eventually I’ll forgive them for not having a pre-cut screw hole in that cubby cover. 🙂

More for kittens than for adult catsOur cats love most of this cat tower. The issue though is that the little hiding spot is too small for them to fit into. The hole in the 2nd story is also too small. So I had to modify it so ours looks a little different than it was intended to look. Still, our cats love scratching this and laying down on it to relax.Decent product overall.
