My 2nd oneI inherited my first Weber Q grill when I bought my retirement home in Florida. I’m not sure how old it was but I’d guess at least 20 years. It was the perfect size. I’ve owned larger grills over the years that rusted out after 4 or 5 years. I have the optional stand and adapter to use a 20 lb propane tank.

Weber portable grillProbably the best gas grill I’ve ever owned! Easy to cook on, and perfect temperatures each time we cook with the gas regulator used. Cooking surface is easy to clean, and large enough for cooking with guests.

Second Weber 1000We have an Weber 1000, which we have used for 20 years. We just replaced the burner tube. I just bought a new camper and the wife said I can’t take the Weber, so I bought a new one.

It’s superThis is the best little barbecue I have ever had although it’s compact you can cook quite a few things on it . It seers nicely and Cooks evenly . It is also pretty easy to clean an empty drip tray . Took maybe five minutes to put together .

Best Grill EverWe love our new Weber grill….so light weight and versatile …..it grills evenly and so easy to transport to the beach….steaks, chicken, burgers….it all taste great on our new grill and clean up is the best…..best summer purchase we ever made!!!

The perfect grill that fits!I was shopping for a grill to take on the road and had limited space in my RV. The Q1000 fit the bill. The only downside is that Weber didn’t include a thermometer with this model, but I found a YouTube video for installing my own and not it is perfect.

Lots of research and a bit disappointedI consider Weber to be a top name brand of quality, however after receiving the product I am significantly disappointed. The burner doesn’t seem to be get hot enough to cook a steak, I realized the BTU is less than other table top BBQ, but I wanted to stay with the smaller green bottles. The grills on top of the burner appear more solid than grill bars – meaning there is a lot of area taken up by a solid piece versus the good old length wise bars. This restricts heat coming up, but overall it still cooks vegetables, hot dogs and burgers. But anything requiring more heat – you will be disappointed. Additionally the lid opens up too far, meaning as you lift the lid your arm goes directly over the grill, all the heat goes directly to your arm. That is inevitable but what is unique about this grill that I dislike it it opens up very far so it goes well beyond the safety point – and even with that the quality of hinges although very simple – are really not what I consider quality. Overall I appreciate the grill, but for Weber and the Price – I think you will find a lower cost grill that will offer the same if not better experience. It is also a little on the heavy side so be sure to consider this when comparison shopping.
