WEN Products 4.3-Amp 4 x 36-Inch Belt and 6-Inch Disc Sander with Cast Iron Base, 6502T
$90.26
Remember when you needed a versatile and reliable sander. The WEN Belt Disc Sander easily sands, smooths, and removes all the jagged edges and splinters on your wood and lumber. With a 4.3-amp 1/2 HP motor, users should anticipate enough power to prevent this machine from bogging down under a large load. Changing the spacious 4-inch-by-36-inch belt is a breeze, so you’ll have the power to switch and replace sandpaper grits as needed without wasting any time. The belt also tilts anywhere from 0 to 90 degrees to accommodate the needs of your workpiece while the heavy cast-iron base prevents vibrations. With all of this in addition to the 6-inch side disc, you’ll have the capacity to sand whatever your heart desires. The sanding disc is accompanied by a sturdy cast-aluminum worktable. Included with the belt disc sander is a mitre gauge for steady sanding on angled edges, a stop bar for safety and control, and a 2.25-inch dust port to connect a dust extractor. And because this is a WEN Product, your purchase comes backed by a two-year warranty, a nationwide network of skilled experienced technicians, and a helpful customer service line all to make sure that you remember WEN.

Wen? a new juggernautI’ve had this sander for about 3 months now and I freaking love it! I have a WEN drill press (my first WEN product) it is so cool. I was so impressed with the drill press, I bought a WEN bandsaw. Great price for all of these, and no problem with any of them so I bought the bench belt sander. (6502T) And its a tool I never knew I needed so much. I wish I would have had something like this growing up. Some of the things I built and made would have been so much better. I know this sounds like an infra-mercial for Wen but I love their tools so far, no problems or issues. A Wen jointer might me in my future.

Highly recommend! Don’t question this machineGreat product at a very reasonable price. Was actually the cheapest I could find. But you couldn’t tell by the quality. This looks an runs just like it’s $300 competition. Don’t over pay with the rest. This is well worth it’s weight. I’ve tried putting excessive pressure on the belt to see if it will bogs out while running. And it still doesn’t phase this machine. Just keeps on going. Vacuum port works well, just have to make sure your belt guard isn’t to low and just collects dust. Overall nothing bad I could say about this machine. Overall pleased with my purchase. I’d say I’d buy another but I don’t see this beast stopping anytime soon. Also I’ve used this machine daily since I’ve gotten it. Had it for months, not one issue. Definitely recommend this brand!

Amazing!Everything worked very well. I took it out of the box and plugged it in to make sure the belt would track right. It did. Every part was easy to assemble and all is working very well. This is a good product

Glad i went with this 1 with the cast iron bottomI havent used it for a long period of time yet, its been too cold. I ground down a piece of pallet wood with the belt that came on it. I pushed down intentionally trying to bog it down. It kept its speed without sounding like it was being worked to hard. I think it will be a great asset for my projects.

Good productDo the job, easy to work with and came pretty much ready to go, is sturdy but the first order came out broken (I blame fedex for the poor service the guy pretty much throwing it on my front porch wasn’t a good idea)
I’m using this for wooden toys and so far not complaints

Nice bench sander – SolidHaven’t had this too long, but used it a few times. It’s built pretty solid, and the belt sander stays on track real well. For the money, probably should be a five star rating, but not knowing how long it will last, I gave it four stars.
